Google Launches “Personal Intelligence” for Gemini

Google has introduced Personal Intelligence, a new beta feature that allows Gemini to reason across apps like Gmail, Photos, YouTube, and Search delivering more personalized responses without users specifying data sources.

The feature connects Google’s ecosystem so Gemini can proactively use relevant text, images, and videos.

It’s off by default, and Google says connected personal data won’t be used to train its AI models.

Currently rolling out to Gemini AI Pro and Ultra users in the U.S., with broader expansion planned.
